With a goal to meet the increased demand for patient-centered care with more diverse services and highly skilled providers, the 4-story, 125,000-square-foot Mount Nittany Health Toftrees in State College, Pennsylvania, provides a wide range of outpatient healthcare services in a single location. The healthcare facility’s environmentally friendly design was designed with a focus on sustainability and houses various medical practices, including OB/GYN, pediatrics, neurology, orthopedics, sports medicine, ENT, general surgery, urology, primary care, gastroenterology, and endoscopy.

A variety of Kawneer’s solutions were specified for the project, including our 1600UT System™1 Curtain Wall, Trifab® VersaGlaze® 601UT Framing System and 350 Medium Stile Entrances. Our 1600UT System™1 Curtain Wall helps deliver ultra-thermal performance, versatility and reliability for the project, utilizing thermal barrier technology to address the extreme climactic conditions found in the project’s region. Further, our Trifab® VersaGlaze® 601UT Framing System, with its dual thermal break, provides increased performance and value to the project. Our 350 Medium Stile Entrances provide extra strength for high-traffic applications, including those often found in healthcare facilities.
