Completed in 2009, 700 Sixth Street was one of DC’s first LEED Platinum® Core and Shell (CS) office buildings and earned a LEED EB O&M Platinum certification. The property uses several Kawneer products to be highly sustainable without compromising the design, such as the 2500 PG Wall® Curtain Wall System, 1600 Wall System®1 Curtain Wall and 500 Wide Stile Standard Entrances.
